Indonesia’s move towards establishing an international financial centre creates new opportunities for investment, financial services, and cross-border transactions. For Bali to play a meaningful role in this evolving landscape, a strong and credible dispute resolution framework will be essential.
International investors and businesses need confidence that contractual rights can be protected, disputes can be resolved efficiently, and outcomes can be recognised and enforced. Arbitration therefore has an important role to play in building the legal certainty and institutional trust expected of an international financial hub.
This webinar will explore what arbitration framework a financial hub needs, where Indonesia currently stands, and what steps could strengthen Bali’s readiness for the future. The discussion will consider the legal, institutional, and practical foundations required to support increasingly sophisticated cross-border investment and financial activity.
